How it works?

  • You tell me the type of stained glass piece you need. Do you want a nature scene, birds, butterflies, pets, hearts, Celtic art, flowers, angels, stars, geometric designs, or something else?
  • What size piece do you need - a suncatcher, panel, transom, or window?
  • What shape would you like - circle, square, rectangle, oval, organic?
  • What colors are you looking for? Do you need to coordinate with other colors in your home?
  • Just email me at Anne@StainedGlassStitcher.com your thoughts.
  • I'll draw up a design for you to approve and send you pictures of glass options, and you select the ones you like.
  • There is an initial deposit for the design and the cost depends on the size of the piece you need, so we'll discuss that before I start working on it.
  • I'll make the piece and keep you updated along the way.

Custom Pet Hearts 

Golden Retriever
  • You send me 2-4 high-quality, detailed images of your pet.
    • Get a close up, natural lighted photo. Outdoor photos work great!
    • I recommend your pet be sitting or standing when taking their photo. These poses provide the best results.
    • Try to be eye level with your pet.
  • Let me know if you prefer a full or partial heart or another shape.  We'll discuss this, since the pose you send may impact the options.
  • I create a pattern and get it approved by you.
  • We pick out some glass together. Note that glass colors and textures may vary slightly depending on availability and the natural variations in art glass. Also your screen may display the color differently.
  • I keep you updated along the way.

Since this item is made to order it takes about 2-4 weeks to complete, depending on the volume of requests.  Pricing for pet hearts starts at $300 per piece, but may increase due to size, number of pets, complexity of the piece, and glass pricing.

Custom Order Approval
Custom pieces are created based on the design details agreed upon prior to production. Once a design, colors, and layout have been approved and work has begun, changes may not be possible. Because custom pieces are made specifically for you, they are non-returnable and non-refundable once production has started.

Deposits for custom orders are non-refundable once work has begun, as materials are purchased and time is dedicated to creating the piece.

Design Feasibility
Some images and artwork cannot be translated directly into stained glass. This is especially common with AI-generated images, which often include shapes, floating elements, or details that are not structurally possible in stained glass. If you submit an AI-generated design, please understand that it may need to be simplified or modified so it can be safely and successfully created in glass.

Stained Glass Stitcher reserves the right to decline custom orders that cannot be completed to our quality standards.
